Atlas Sound and Deerhunter frontman Bradford Cox announced tour dates in support of Atlas Sound’s 2011 album Parallax, our fourth favorite album of 2011. Fiery Furnaces' Eleanor Friedberger released her first solo album, Last Summer, this past July to glowing reviews. It featured an all-star cast of Matt Asti (MGMT), Ahmed Gallab (touring member of Yeasayer & Caribou), and John Eatherly (Be Your Own Pet & Turbo Fruits, as well as many excellent songs -- like "Heaven". She released the video for that one in particular today

Just last week Bruce Springsteen announced details of his upcoming album Wrecking Ball, out March 6th. Its first track, “We Take Care of Our Own” was also made available. The Boss had previously announced a bunch of European dates stretching from May to July, but it was obvious that U.S. dates were on their way.
